cPanel is reporting the acount\'s disk space usage incorrectly

A cPanel bug commonly causes the display of incorrect disk space usage for accounts. The error is most commonly displayed in the left hand panel of the account\'s cPanel, the quick stats area. If you click on \"Disk Usage Viewer\" in cPanel the correct disk usage should be displayed.

You should notify tech support via ticket if you are having this problem.. The incorrect reporting can usually be resolved during server maintenance.

If you operate your own VPS or dedicated server, you can simply run /scripts/fixquotas (as ROOT) at your server\'s command line. If you\'re hosting a lot of domains the script could cause a load spike on your server so it\'s always best to do this during \"off-hours\" between midnight and 3 a.m., usually.
